You could think of this book as an extended argument for the empowering potential of giving up hope.

💗 Braveheart, this is your invitation to stop hoping and wishing …
My guide word for 2024 has been: latitude.
This word as a practice became unconditional permission to do whatever was possible—to be in-ease, and to release (purge and ignore) whatever else remained undone and overwhelming.
Embracing my limits of time and energies as an act of self-compassion facilitated giving up (unfounded and unfair) hope that “trying harder” with the right system, schedule, tools and techniques would somehow enable me to “do it all.”
The trouble is that we’re terrible at long-range planning; if something feels like a priority now, it’s virtually impossible to coolly assess whether it will still feel that way in a week or a month.

❤️ Braveheart, as the Creator/Artist of Right Brain Planner® I am ever-grateful to have the opportunity to share my creative work online + support other creators! 🎉 For almost 20 years I have had the privilege of sharing my art and writing about right brain planning while also hosting kindred 👭🏽💞👭 communities. ✨ I consider it an absolute delight to continue this portion of my creative work (even as I retire from full-time work).
This is possible, in part, by {you} and your presence here. But also because of the support of my Ko-fi patrons and the other member/subscriber communities I host (via their presence, input and paid subscriptions).
