“Inviting Strength” is the second chapter of Living The Artist’s Way by Julia Cameron — and a perfectly timed prompt this second week of a new season of my writing and creative work.
- I have not felt physically week this past week, but I continued with this writing series being open to living — instead of trying to be — grounded.
- Trusting in Divine guidance within my capacity to listen and abide in peace and live freely.
In this chapter, Cameron shares this insight from a friend of hers (who is a Lakota elder) regarding his ongoing sense of protection:
“The spirits look out for me…The invisible world is like a mirror for us—spirit and consciousness. Of course there are are spirits who love us and guide us.”
Intuition is like reading a word without having to spell it out.

Creative scaffolding (designated time and sequence) enables me the comfort of a starting point and structure in this space I share my process and practice with you, dear Braveheart.
- My current writing goal: 150-ish (or less) words daily as free-writing, compiling notes from my self-directed studies and chronicling ideas from (and for) my creative work. 💖 Sometimes compiled here and published, sometimes not.
These compilations allow me to document, discern and ponder my living along amidst the ever-changing details of certainty, uncertainty and random challenges mingled with the details of daily minutia and my story-unfolding. 🔮
